GET PUBLISHED! Notes on my upcoming workshop at the Colorado Teen Literature Conference

Want to be an author? Get your start as a freelancer for magazines, journals and trade publications, e-zines. Hone your skills as a writer, build your credibility, your list of contacts and publishing credits. You don’t need to have a degree to begin writing for publication!

Using her personal experience as a freelancer, adventure writer and novelist, Linda helps the participant discover her passions and her areas of expertise; find markets, and write the all-important query letter.

By the end of the workshop the participant will have developed a one-page query to pitch an article or essay of her choosing.
